Let me start by saying I’m an old-school rock and roll guy through and through. Typically, modern rap and hip-hop don’t do much for me—too much polish, too many gimmicks. But Avalanche The Architect‘s “What’s Your Money Like” genuinely grabbed my attention in a way I didn’t expect.

There’s a raw energy here, something gritty and rebellious that harkens back to the golden era of rock when artists spoke their minds without apology. Avalanche the Architect delivers each line with a brash confidence that reminds me of the swagger of rock legends who knew how to command the stage. His lyrics aren’t just flashy—they’re witty, clever, and fiercely authentic.

The piano riff glows against the intense drums – they have the energy of Jon Bonham wrapped up in a hip-hop sensibility. The combo is aggressive, relentless, and catchy as hell, like the best anthems used to be. Avalanche isn’t simply flexing wealth; he’s channeling a spirit of rebellion and charisma that’s compelling (even for a guy who usually sticks to guitars and drum solos).

The ending features a repeated chant of “money” against a repeated piano note – it leaves a powerful impression—like the echo of an electric guitar ringing out after the last chord. Avalanche The Architect managed something impressive here: he got an old rocker nodding along. And trust me, that’s saying something.
